Be careful out there the next couple of days

As my grandfather used to say, “It’s H-O-T, warm outside.”

It’s going to be hot the next couple of days here in Music City, with reports we could break 100 degrees by mid-week. And the humidity will be suffocating, pushing the old heat index up even higher. Add to that the haze that was reported yesterday as being worse than that in Los Angeles….now that is truly frightening.

So, make sure you stay cool when you can and that you stay hydrated. Drink plenty of water.

And also, say a prayer for our homeless brothers and sisters. I know the extreme cold can be hard on them, but I read today somewhere that the extreme heat like this can be just as brutal on them.
